CenturyLink Public Communications enables the families and friends to receive call collects from their dear ones held in confinement of Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) facility. The families and friends of the inmates with local telephone service do not have access to inmate call collects. CenturyLink Public Communications holds contract with the Texas offender Telephone service to keep the inmates and families connected. The special inmate call packages are planned keeping in mind the budget and requirement of the users. The service allows relatives, friends, families and attorneys to receive calls from the inmates. With Offender Telephone System (OTS) the eligible offenders are allowed to make paid phone calls to family, dear ones and friends.

CenturyLink Public Communications leads in the field of Offender Telephone System (OTS). The communication company holds rich experience in providing prison call services to the inmates and families. With various calling programs, families can now receive inmate call collects and continue speaking with their incarcerated loved ones. Inmates can make call to friends and dear ones from the correctional facility. The flexible calling programs offered by the service provider includes

  • Direct-Collect Billed

  • Friends and Family Prepaid

  • Offender Telephone

Direct-Collect Billed: With direct-collect billed the families are allowed to receive call collect from their incarcerated dear ones and pay for the call charges. The call charges for the collect calls can be paid as per monthly invoice. Families are required to register with Centurylink Friends & Family Enrollment Center to create an account with the company.

Friends and Family Prepaid: The service allows the owner of the telephone number to prepay for the service. Post creation of the account, amount can be funded by any person based on requirement.

Offender Telephone: The service allows the offender to make calls from the correctional facility to family and dear ones. The offender’s phone account can be funded by a friend or family member. The service does not support refunding of any amount.
